Are you detail-oriented and enjoy hands-on lab work? We are looking for a motivated Laboratory Technician to support our scientists with batching formulas, preparing prototypes, and performing analytical testing for our customers. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional lab setting while working with a collaborative and supportive team.

Position Details:

• Shift: Days, Monday – Friday
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch break).
• Length: 1-year temporary assignment (possibility of extension)
• Location: Erlanger, KY (Northern Kentucky)

What You’ll Do:

• Perform and interpret analytical tests on samples.
• Batch formulas and prototypes, making minor modifications to bases, screening flavors and colors, and adjusting formulas in Wildware.
• Conduct basic math conversions and ratio calculations.
• Follow ISO procedures daily.
• Assist with informal sensory tastings and stability tests under supervision.
• Use AS400 and LEAD systems to research information and generate shipments.
• Generate data for demo sheets and help screen/select flavor options for development.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or higher with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Math & Science: Comfortable with basic math, ratios, percentages, fractions, and scientific terminology.
• Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet usage, and data entry.

• Analytical Skills: Familiarity with pH meters, Brix, spectrophotometers, and TA testing is a plus.

• Problem-Solving: Able to identify issues, find solutions, and make recommendations.
