Lab Tech Assistant

We’re hiring a Laboratory Manufacturing Technician to support a high-performing biotech manufacturing environment focused on animal health products. This role plays a critical part in producing vaccines that support global animal health.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare, clean, and sterilize laboratory equipment and glassware
- Support equipment setup and assist with manufacturing operations
- Perform and assist with aseptic procedures, including formulation, filling, and environmental monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation (logbooks, batch records, charts)
- Assist with vaccine production processes: formulation, filling, labeling, packaging, and inspection
- Clean and maintain workspaces in compliance with safety and GMP standards
- Monitor processes and report any non-routine events or deviations
- Support inventory and lab supply management
- Assist with training new team members and improving procedures (SOPs)
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and company policies

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED with lab experience OR Bachelor’s degree (science-related preferred)
- 1+ year of laboratory experience
- Ability to follow procedures and complete tasks within assigned timelines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Basic math skills (calculations and conversions)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a regulated, cleanroom or controlled environment

Preferred:

- Biology or Chemistry background
- Aseptic technique or cleanroom experience
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

Work Environment & Schedule

This role supports a 24/7 manufacturing operation, requiring flexibility:

Rotating shifts (you will work 2 adjacent shifts per week)
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Must be open to overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
