LEGAL CALENDARING CLERK
Fresno, CA | Full-Time | On-Site | Pay: $25/hour + DOE
AppleOne has partnered with a highly respected and well-established law firm seeking an experienced Legal Calendaring Clerk to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional, fast-paced environment supporting a busy commercial litigation practice.
About the Role:
The Legal Calendaring Clerk will be responsible for maintaining and managing all case-related deadlines, ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures. This role is vital to the efficiency and accuracy of the firm’s litigation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update litigation calendars for multiple attorneys.
- Review pleadings, discovery, and court documents to identify and enter deadlines.
- Calculate timelines in accordance with local, state, and federal court rules.
- Communicate critical deadlines and reminders to attorneys and staff.
- Coordinate with the legal team to schedule hearings, depositions, and court appearances.
- Assist with other administrative and case management duties as needed.
MUST HAVE/Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a law office or legal environment (required).
- Strong knowledge of legal calendaring procedures and familiarity with court filing deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Professional communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented attitude.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift
