Role Overview
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing high-value customer accounts, driving customer satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring seamless communication between internal departments and key automotive clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong relationship-building skills, deep industry knowledge, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact for major automotive clients
Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
Understand client needs, business goals, and technical requirements
Manage contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and sales planning
Identify opportunities to expand account revenue and product solutions
Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams
Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time delivery and service excellence
Track account performance, metrics, and forecasting
Lead business reviews and customer presentations
Qualifications
8+ years account management or sales experience (automotive manufacturing strongly preferred)
Proven success managing strategic or large-volume accounts
Strong understanding of automotive industry processes (OEM/Tier-1 experience ideal)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to interpret technical information and collaborate with engineering teams
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
