We are seeking a Junior Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in San Juan, PR within the real estate and property management industry. Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing accounting transactions by verifying, sorting, calculating, posting, and recording financial data accurately.
- Prepare invoices, bank deposits, account documentation, and related accounting records with attention to accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with reconciliation of general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering, balancing, and reviewing financial information.
- Generate financial reports and provide account and ledger status updates for management review.
- Follow internal accounting policies and procedures to support compliance with federal, state, and local financial requirements.
- Protect confidential financial information through organized recordkeeping, proper file retention, classification, and database backup support.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $14.50 to $15.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Temp-to-hire.
- Process accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support invoice preparation, bank deposits, and account documentation.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage records, files, and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real estate, property management, or a related service-based industry.
- Familiarity with general ledger support, bank reconciliations, and routine financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, or financial databases.
- Coursework or training in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
