Summary:
The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the accounting department in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role assists with financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Follow the internal control system to ensure accuracy of financial and accounting information, promote accountability, and prevent fraud.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Post journal and ledger entries.
• Review financial transactions and monitor account reconciliation process.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports.
• Assist with tax preparation, audits, and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal accounting regulations.
• Support payroll processing, tax return reports, and payments.
• Handle vendor and client payments.
• Assist in administering bank transactions and overseeing monthly data recording procedures.
• Maintain accurate and updated financial records.
• Analyze discrepancies and propose accounting solutions.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, including Pivot Tables).
• Bilingual: Spanish & English (written and verbal).
