Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

We’re seeking a Jr. Project Accountant with a background in commercial construction to join our growing team. This full-time, in-office role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and smooth project execution.

What You’ll Do
Support financial and fiscal management of active construction projects
Ensure compliance with contracts and internal financial procedures
Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Engineering teams
Manage project cost accounting, forecasting, and billing cycles
Assist with closeout procedures and ongoing financial tracking
Conduct job site visits as needed
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret owner contracts, addendums, and exhibits
Process invoices, subcontractor payments, and monthly pay applications
Prepare and submit accurate client billing
Maintain lien releases and subcontractor documentation
Enter and verify payroll timesheets
Generate weekly financial updates for project teams
Support internal audits and accounting requests
Monitor insurance compliance and subcontractor enrollments
What We’re Looking For
MUST HAVE: Commercial Construction Accounting experience
Knowledge of Cost Accounting or Procore (preferred)
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and job costing practices
High attention to detail, organization, and time management
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
