We are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Manager on behalf of a leading organization in the shipping and logistics sector. This role offers the chance to lead a dynamic team, optimize inventory processes, and ensure seamless shipping and receiving operations.

Position Summary:
As the Inventory Manager, you will oversee
all aspects of inventory management, shipping, and receiving operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, and team leadership. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely shipments, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
Analyze inventory trends and provide recommendations to improve forecasting and replenishment processes.
Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations,
safety standards, and company policies.
Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse and logistics staff to achieve performance goals.
Identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, shipping delays, or damaged goods.
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and production, to align inventory strategies with business needs.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of experience in inventory management, shipping, and receiving, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of shipping regulations, customs requirements, and warehouse safety standards.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational excellence.
Strong
communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP, or similar) is a plus.
Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
Familiarity with international shipping and customs processes.
