This Interior Designer Position Features:
B. Responsible for all phases of the design process.
• Discovery sessions with client to determine project requirements.
• Showroom tours of products and settings.
• In person project presentations using Live Design in CET.
• Ensuring AutoCAD drawings coincide with site dimensions and base building.
• Space planning development with client consultation and presentation.
• Furniture, material and finishes selection with client consultation and presentation.
• Supporting documents: specifications, 3-D diagrams, and project cost summaries.
• Production and creation of shop drawings for client approvals and order entry.
• Organizing and submitting specifications/bill of materials that will be used for order entry.
• Compiling documents for order entry: Project Spec worksheets, Finish Schedules, CET files.
• Project inspection.
• Inspection resolution.
• Final inspection.
• Job site visits.
• Pre-installation coordination.
• Project analysis summaries for reconfigurations.
• Installation drawings and specifications of new and existing furniture.
• As-built drawing documentation.
• Bid preparations.
• Tracking Time.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have a degree in interior design.
• Must be proficient in CET and AutoCAD.
