We are seeking a highly motivated and licensed Insurance & Annuities Advisor to join a company located in the Castle Shannon area of Pittsburgh. This role involves helping clients navigate their financial futures through tailored insurance and annuity solutions. The ideal candidate will hold a Series 6 or Series 65 license, along with a Life & Health Insurance license, and preferably a Series 63 license for multi-state securities sales. Key Responsibilities:
- Educate and advise clients on fixed, indexed, and variable annuities, as well as life and health insurance products.
- Provide investment guidance on mutual funds, 529 plans, and retirement accounts.
- Conduct financial needs assessments and develop customized solutions.
- Maintain compliance with FINRA, SEC, and state insurance regulations.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust and transparency.
- Collaborate with internal financial planners and compliance teams.
- Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and product updates.
Licensing Requirements:
- Series 6 – Required to sell mutual funds, variable annuities, and other packaged securities.
- Series 65 – Required if offering fee-based investment advice as an Investment Adviser Representative.
- Life & Health Insurance License – Required to sell fixed and indexed annuities, life insurance, and health insurance products.
- Series 63 – Preferred for selling securities across state lines (Blue Sky laws).
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services, insurance, or investment sales.
- Strong understanding of retirement planning, estate planning, and wealth preservation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a book of business.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and financial planning software.
