Job Summary
We are seeking an Insurance Support Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will assist clients with policy questions, documentation, updates, and service needs while working closely with Account Managers. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating by phone and email, and motivated to learn. Candidates who are not currently licensed will receive support in obtaining a Property & Casualty license within 90 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with insurance policy questions, updates, documentation, and general service needs.
- Handle client inquiries by phone and email with professionalism, accuracy, and timely follow-up.
- Gather required information, process documentation, and maintain accurate client records.
- Support Account Managers with day-to-day client service tasks and account-related requests.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, collaborative insurance environment.
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal team members to help resolve issues efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $18.00 to $18.50 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support clients with insurance policy questions, updates, and service requests.
- Process documentation accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Partner with Account Managers to ensure client needs are handled promptly.
- Communicate with clients by phone and email in a professional, service-focused manner.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant customer service, client care, administrative support, or insurance support experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and helpful communication style.
- Ability to obtain Property & Casualty licensure within 90 days if not already licensed.
- Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM.
- Comfortable using standard office equipment, including computer systems, multiple screens, printer, scanner, fax machine, and telephone.
- Tech-savvy and able to work efficiently from home when eligible for hybrid work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate by phone for extended periods of time, up to 7 hours per day.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, active listening skills, and sound judgment.
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to manage stress appropriately in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, up to 7 hours per day.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs in a two-story office building without elevators.
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance during normal working hours within a standard 40-hour workweek.
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed based on business needs.
- Comfortable working in an office environment where the noise level is usually moderate to loud.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Property & Casualty license or able to attain within 90 days (support provided)
- Previous experience in insurance, personal lines, client service, account support, or an agency environment.
- Experience supporting Account Managers or working with policy documentation, client records, or insurance-related systems.
