Job Summary
We are seeking an Insurance Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Greenville, SC. This role supports client service, insurance operations, information management, and compliance for insurance-related products and services.
The Insurance Specialist serves as a key liaison between clients, internal advisors, the network office, and the home office. This is a strong opportunity for a licensed insurance professional who enjoys detailed administrative support, client communication, policy service, and helping move insurance cases through the process accurately and efficiently.

The right candidate will work closely with advisors and support teams while building expertise in insurance operations, case management, underwriting follow-up, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Review case notes, process correspondence, maintain digital client files, and organize insurance-related documents.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding signatures, late payments, product changes, address updates, banking changes, loan requests, and service needs.
- Monitor case status, follow up on outstanding items, expedite underwriting requirements, and prepare policies for delivery.
- Complete and review insurance applications, conversions, policy changes, and related documents for accuracy.
- Coordinate medical, paramedical, and underwriting exam requirements as needed.
- Prepare insurance illustrations, support reporting needs, and assist with insurance product service and conservation activities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $47,000 to $60,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support insurance case management, application processing, policy changes, and underwriting follow-up.
- Provide direct client service for insurance-related requests, updates, documentation, and service issues.
- Maintain accurate digital records, correspondence, check logs, and client case files.
- Assist advisors with non-securities insurance product service activities, reporting, and policy delivery.
- Active Health and Life insurance license required.
- Associate Financial Representative contract required within 90 days of employment.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative support, customer service, insurance, or financial services experience.
- Strong knowledge of insurance service workflows, applications, policy changes, and client documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, data entry, and information retrieval systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting insurance products within a financial services or advisory office environment.
- Familiarity with underwriting requirements, policy delivery, insurance illustrations, annuity applications, conversions, and policy change processing.
- Experience communicating with clients regarding insurance service requests, documentation, payments, and account updates.
