Insurance Specialist (Renewals)
Job Summary
The Insurance Specialist is responsible for managing and executing all processes related to auto policy renewals while supporting additional operational functions such as quoting, policy issuance, payments, and endorsements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring portfolio retention, policy continuity, and overall customer satisfaction by delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality service across all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end renewal process, ensuring policies are reviewed, updated, and renewed accurately and on time.
Handle inbound and outbound communications with policyholders, providing guidance on coverage, renewals, quotes, and payment processing.
Prepare and issue renewal notices, quotes, and related communications, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with established timelines.
Proactively follow up on upcoming policy expirations to support customer retention and ensure continuous coverage.
Process endorsements and policy adjustments associated with renewals, tailoring coverage to meet client needs.
Provide policy documents, certificates, and related materials via email or mail, maintaining professional presentation standards.
Maintain and organize documentation, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and efficient workflow coordination with internal teams.
Support operational processes including quoting and policy issuance as needed, ensuring consistency and data accuracy.
Participate in the rollout of new products and system enhancements, including testing and validation of processes.
Educate clients on policy coverage, renewal changes, and insurance-related matters with a service-oriented approach.
Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to support informed decision-making.
Adhere to company policies, compliance standards, and ethical guidelines in all activities.
Contribute to ongoing initiatives and process improvements in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the auto insurance industry or in a similar role, preferably focused on renewals.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
