An insurance agency located in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking an entry-level professional with goals of going into the insurance industry. The insurance agency will support them in attaining their Commercial Property Casualty License which will allow their responsibilities to grow in their role.
Pay: $25 an hour
Location: On-site in Santa Barbara, CA, possible hybrid flexibility
Schedule: Full-time, 8:30am-5pm
Job Duties:
-Respond to inquiries from Agency insured and prospects
-Assist in collections for assigned accounts by calling or writing the insureds and Contact Company to cancel for nonpayment if applicable
-Complete applications and rate and quote risks for new and renewal business
-Maintain account files (paper and computer), checking and updating account information; purging as appropriate
Qualifications:
-High School graduate with at least 2 years of work experience
-Property and Casualty Insurance Agents License.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus.
