Insurance Sales Representative - Property & Casualty

Candidates with prior sales experience, strong customer service backgrounds, or exposure to the insurance industry are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Develop individual lead sources through community networking, outbound calling, referrals, and local engagement.
Proactively market yourself through events, outreach efforts, marketing lists, and cross-selling/up-selling to new and existing customers.
Maintain a competitive, self-motivated mindset to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
Identify client needs, present insurance solutions, overcome objections, and close sales effectively.
Build and maintain strong product knowledge across all offered insurance lines.
Recognize opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services.
Collaborate with team members and foster strong working relationships within the office
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of sales or insurance industry experience.
Ability to obtain (or current possession of) a Property & Casualty Insurance License in the state of NY.
Strong administrative and customer service background.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer research skills.
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods; able to lift up to 20 lbs.
