Job Summary

We are seeking an Insurance Operations Associate for a full-time contract opportunity in Rochester, NY. This role supports insurance operations by reviewing, updating, and maintaining Workers' Compensation plan information with a strong focus on data accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with data entry, administrative support, insurance processing, customer service, or operations support experience who enjoy detail-oriented work in a fast-paced office environment. Key Responsibilities

- Review and process Workers' Compensation plan information received from insurance carriers.
- Enter, update, and verify client and plan data across multiple internal systems and insurance platforms.
- Monitor, load, and correct data deficiencies while performing quality checks for accuracy.
- Identify missing or incorrect information and coordinate corrections with internal teams.
- Use insurance carrier websites and internal applications to verify and maintain records.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to data entry, information verification, and operational follow-up.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Work Environment: Full-time onsite office position in Rochester, NY.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Review and maintain Workers' Compensation plan information from insurance carriers.
- Enter client and plan data accurately into multiple computer applications.

- Support insurance operations through quality checks, documentation updates, and phone-based verification.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience preferred in data entry, administrative support, insurance operations, or customer service.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Ability to work with multiple computer systems and applications simultaneously.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team-focused environment.
- Comfortable working in a desk-based office role with moderate phone interaction.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling client and insurance information.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with insurance carrier websites or insurance processing platforms.
- Background in Workers' Compensation, claims support, benefits administration, or records management.
- Previous experience as a Data Entry Specialist, Insurance Processing Specialist, Administrative Assistant, Claims Support Associate, Records Specialist, Operations Support Associate, Customer Service Representative, or Benefits Administration Assistant.
