Job Summary
We are seeking an Insurance Operations professional for a direct hire opportunity in Greenville, SC. This role supports client service, insurance operations, information management, and compliance activities for insurance-related products and services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3-5 years of insurance, financial services, administrative support, or client service experience who enjoys working in a detail-oriented, client-focused environment. The position serves as a key liaison between clients, advisors, the network office, and the home office, helping ensure insurance cases, applications, policy changes, and service requests are handled accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will enjoy a collaborative team setting, supportive leadership, and a role that offers exposure to insurance operations, client service, underwriting coordination, and ongoing policy support.
Key Responsibilities
- Review case notes, process correspondence, maintain client files, and digitally organize insurance-related documents.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding signatures, late payments, policy changes, address updates, bank information changes, loan requests, and service requests.
- Monitor daily status reports, track follow-ups, and expedite additional underwriting requirements to keep cases moving forward.
- Prepare policies for delivery, complete and review insurance applications, conversions, illustrations, and policy changes for accuracy.
- Coordinate medical, paramedical, and underwriting exams as needed for insurance applications.
- Support advisors during the sales cycle for non-securities products and participate in conservation of existing insurance business.

- Salary range: $50,000 to $65,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support insurance operations, client service, case management, and compliance-related administrative processes.
- Manage insurance application processing, policy changes, conversions, underwriting follow-up, and client documentation.
- Communicate with clients, advisors, network office contacts, and home office teams to resolve service-related needs.
- Maintain accurate records, follow-up processes, status reporting, and digital client files.
- Health and Life license required.
- Associate Financial Representative contract required within 90 days of employment.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred in insurance, financial services, administrative support, or customer service.
- Experience completing or reviewing insurance applications, policy changes, conversions, and client service requests.
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications, data entry systems, and information retrieval software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a compliance-sensitive environment.
- Ability to proactively identify next steps, follow through on open tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle client information with professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with underwriting processes, insurance illustrations, policy delivery, and client service workflows.
- Prior experience supporting financial advisors, insurance advisors, or client-facing insurance operations teams.
