This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional client service, maximizing productivity, leading staff development, and supporting the expansion and performance of all agency service centers. The Insurance Manager plays a critical leadership role in training, sales performance, compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all Insurance Agency operations across service centers.
Ensure staff are properly trained, licensed, and certified; monitor staffing schedules, vacations, and business travel.
Develop and implement training programs at all levels, including sales, product, vendor, and systems training.
Analyze, compile, and monitor agency sales data; provide regular performance reports and implement improvements as needed.
Develop and support insurance promotions and sales initiatives to drive growth.
Lead efforts to expand existing accounts and support acquisition of new business.
Perform duties of a senior agent as needed and remain current on industry trends.
Meet with insurance carrier representatives to review new programs and services; communicate updates to staff.
Oversee insurance department technology systems, including AMS 360 and PL Rater; prepare for system negotiations and enhancements.
Direct, manage, and motivate staff to ensure high-quality service and minimal errors.
Maintain accurate records and provide regular operational and performance reports to management.
Qualifications:
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
Strong knowledge of insurance agency operations and industry best practices.
Proficiency with AMS 360 and PL Rater.
Demonstrated leadership ability, including delegation, prioritization, and team motivation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
Knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
