Job Title: Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

AppleOne is proud to partner with a distinguished law firm specializing in Insurance Defense to find a motivated Associate Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or newly licensed attorney seeking to build a strong foundation in litigation while working on challenging and impactful cases.
Responsibilities:
Represent and advocate for clients in insurance defense matters.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to achieve outstanding case results.
Conduct comprehensive legal research across a wide range of topics.
Draft a variety of legal documents, including letters, memos, motions, orders, and pleadings.
Assist senior attorneys with preparation for hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
Maintain high levels of organization, attention to detail, and accuracy in all legal tasks.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented, and client-focused work environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Active membership in the Florida Bar or successful completion of the July 2025 Florida Bar Exam (awaiting results).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Eagerness to learn, grow, and collaborate within a team.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Skilled in conducting thorough legal research and producing clear, well-organized legal writing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Active Florida Bar membership or pending results from the July 2025 Florida Bar Exam.
Skills:
Strong advocacy, analytical, and communication skills.
Demonstrated excellence in legal research and writing.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
