The Public Insurance Adjuster is responsible for advocating on behalf of policyholders in residential and commercial property loss claims. This role involves evaluating damage, negotiating with insurance companies, and ensuring that clients receive the highest possible settlements. The work is dynamic, blending field inspections, client interaction, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Note: Candidates with backgrounds in the trades (e.g., construction, roofing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) are encouraged to apply. We are willing to train the right person with field experience and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and interpret insurance policy language to determine coverage eligibility.

Assess and document property damage on-site, including detailed inventories of damaged goods.

Negotiate settlements directly with insurance adjusters to maximize client compensation.

Support clients in recreating lost inventories using physical evidence, photos, and vendor visits.

Create accurate reports using Excel and inventory software; maintain updated records in Salesforce.

Provide excellent customer service throughout the claim process, from initial intake to final resolution.

Coordinate and track insurance proceeds and client disbursements.

Travel to loss sites and vendor locations; some overnight travel required.

Assist with special projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of claims processes.
