Immediate need for inspection and packaging technician seeking great work environment, weekends off and growth opportunities. Position Summary
The Inspector and Packaging Technician is responsible for performing online and incoming inspections to ensure finished pharmaceutical products and production components meet established quality standards. This role supports product integrity, regulatory compliance, and overall manufacturing quality within a controlled, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform online AQL inspections on finished products
Conduct online AQL inspections on labeling and cartoning of finished products
Perform incoming inspections of production components, including but not limited to:
Vials
Stoppers
Seals
Filters
Accurately complete inspection documentation, reports, and records
Follow established safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals
Support quality assurance efforts and compliance with GMP and internal standards
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of three (3) months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Strong math skills, including calculations involving percentages, proportions, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment
