Position Overview
We are seeking a driven Inside Sales Representative to support and grow our industrial customer base. This role will focus on managing inbound and outbound sales activity, building strong customer relationships, and delivering technical solutions.
This is a fast-paced, relationship-driven role ideal for someone who thrives in industrial sales and enjoys solving customer challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day sales activities for assigned accounts and incoming inquiries
Prepare and deliver quotes for pumps, valves, fluid power, and industrial equipment
Interpret customer requirements, specs, and technical drawings
Partner with outside sales reps to support territory growth
Proactively follow up on quotes to close business
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for pricing, availability, and lead times
Process orders and ensure accurate, timely delivery
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
Qualifications
2+ years of inside sales experience in industrial distribution or manufacturing
Experience with process equipment, pumps, valves, or fluid power strongly preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical products
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
Background in fluid power, hydraulics, pneumatics, or rotating equipment
Experience working with OEMs, contractors, or industrial end users
Familiarity with reading blueprints or technical specifications
