Job Summary

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a direct hire opportunity in Torrance, CA. This role is ideal for a customer-focused sales operations professional with experience managing order entry, forecasts, inventory coordination, customer communications, and shipping processes in a manufacturing or business-to-business environment.

The Inside Sales Representative will serve as a key link between customers, distributors, factories, contract manufacturers, and internal sales teams. This position offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to support business growth through accurate order management, responsive service, and strong follow-through. Candidates who enjoy detail-oriented work, problem solving, and working with supportive leadership in a fast-paced operations setting will be a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage order entry, sales orders, purchase orders, delivery scheduling, shipment updates, and related order processing activities using internal systems.
- Communicate with factories, contract manufacturers, customers, and distributors regarding schedule changes, quantity adjustments, cancellations, shipment issues, and forecast updates.
- Respond to customer, distributor, and internal inquiries by phone, email, and CRM while providing timely and professional customer service.
- Monitor customer inventory levels, support weekly forecast updates, and generate weekly and monthly reports.
- Prepare and update quotations, register new part numbers, and maintain accurate records in CRM and order processing systems.
- Process and follow up on RMA activities, returns, shipment discrepancies, and product-related inquiries.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay: $50,000 to $55,000 per year.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Training schedule: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Location: Torrance, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum of 3 years of inside sales experience.
- Experience using web-based ordering systems, business software applications, or ERP systems.
- Strong inventory management skills, including the ability to interpret forecasts and plan accordingly.
- Basic Excel skills are required.
- Strong written and verbal customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage details accurately in a deadline-driven environment.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented workplace.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and support changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

- Inside sales experience within manufacturing, distribution, electronics, components, or a similar business-to-business environment.
- Experience supporting distributor programs, stock rotation activities, RMA processing, and shipment discrepancy resolution.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and order management workflows.
- Experience working with factories, contract manufacturers, or supply chain partners.
