Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and sales-driven Inside Sales Representative for a direct hire opportunity in Charlotte, NC with a founder-led wellness company.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys outbound calling, consultative selling, relationship building, and closing new business. The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in expanding wholesale retail partnerships, developing repeat customer revenue, and helping retailers understand the value of high-demand botanical products.

Key Responsibilities
- Make daily outbound cold calls to retailers, specialty retail, and related categories.
- Introduce premium product lines to new prospects and educate store owners on product value, revenue potential, and recommended product mix.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, objection handling, closing, follow-up, and repeat business development.
- Build and maintain long-term wholesale customer relationships that support account growth and customer retention.
- Respond to inbound inquiries by phone, email, and digital channels while delivering a professional customer experience.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, customer interactions, forecasting details, and sales activity tracking.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Base salary range: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year.
- Base salary plus uncapped commission.
- Performance incentives tied to revenue and growth.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Drive outbound sales activity to generate new wholesale retail accounts.
- Manage prospecting, consultative selling, objection handling, closing, and follow-up.
- Develop retailer relationships and support repeat customer growth.
- Maintain CRM records, pipeline visibility, and accurate sales activity tracking.
- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred in inside sales, B2B sales, outbound sales, account executive work, or high-volume cold calling.
- Strong phone and email communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Sales-driven mindset with confidence closing deals and handling objections.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong active listening, customer discovery, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, competitive, resilient, and results-oriented work style.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
- Ability to consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications
- CRM experience such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or a similar platform.
- Experience selling to retail stores, wholesale buyers, specialty retailers, wellness retailers, smoke shops, convenience stores, or related accounts.
- Familiarity with botanical products, plant-based alternatives, wellness products, or regulated consumer product categories.
- Prior success in a commission-based sales environment with measurable revenue targets.
