We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a direct hire opportunity in Germantown, TN. Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day inside sales activity for assigned accounts, inbound inquiries, and outbound customer follow-up.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes for pumps, valves, fluid power products, and industrial equipment.
- Interpret customer requirements, specifications, and technical drawings to recommend appropriate solutions.
- Partner with outside sales representatives to support territory growth, customer retention, and account development.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to confirm pricing, availability, lead times, and product details.
- Process orders accurately, follow up on quotes, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage inside sales activity for industrial accounts and incoming customer inquiries.
- Prepare technical quotes and support sales of pumps, valves, fluid power, and related industrial equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, outside sales teams, and customers to support timely order fulfillment.
- Build strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

- 2+ years of inside sales experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or a related technical sales environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate technical product information.
- Experience with process equipment, pumps, valves, or fluid power strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret customer specifications, technical requirements, or drawings.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, CRM systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, relationship-driven sales environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Background in fluid power, hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, or mechanical systems.
- Experience working with OEMs, contractors, industrial end users, or manufacturing customers.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, technical specifications, or equipment documentation.
- Prior experience supporting outside sales teams or managing industrial customer accounts.
