Inside Sales Representative
Location: Charlotte, NC 28273
Schedule: Onsite Mon-Fri | 8:30am-5pm
Compensation: $55,000/yr. + performance incentives
A Charlotte-based wellness company redefining plant-based alternatives through high-quality kratom and kava botanical products is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through outbound phone sales and digital communication. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and knows how to build trust quickly, sell consultatively, and close sales with confidence.
Responsibilities
•Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, objection handling, and closing.
•Making daily outbound cold calls to retailers in the kratom and kava wellness category; average 70-100 dials a day, aiming for 5-10 meaningful conversations resulting in sales.
•Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with wholesale partners.
•Educate store owners on high-margin, best-selling products and value proposition.
•Help retailers identify the right product mix to maximize their revenue.
•Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels.
•Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity in CRM.
•Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
•Stay informed on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
•Facilitate consistent revenue generation and repeat customer growth.
•Ability to quickly build rapport and become a trusted advisor to retailers.
Qualifications
•3-5 years of Inside sales, B2B sales, or high-volume cold calling experience required.
•CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar system) required.
•Strong communication skills across phone and email.
•Is self-motivated, competitive, and results oriented.
•Possesses ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Compensation & Additional Information
•$55K/yr. annual base salary + performance incentives tied to revenue and growth.
•Goals are to acquire at least 8 new customers per month, or $10,000 of new customer revenue per month.
