Schedule M-F times can be negotiated from the hours of 6am-4pm. More than likely around 7am-3:30pm.
Position summary:
This position requires a broad knowledge of information pertaining to sales functions, including but not limited to accounting functions and other department processes as required to perform Account Management at a high level. Analyze pricing data, sales history, import tariff data, etc. to assists and support Sales personnel. Corresponds with customers regarding order status, price, delivery, technical issues, etc. Coordinates information flow with various internal departments to support customer needs.
Duties Assigned to the Position:
1. Answers incoming calls, returns calls and follow-up calls regarding national accounts.
2. Provides price and delivery information for quotations.
3. Edits, enters and allocates new orders and change orders in CRT.
4. Expedites and pre-expedites delivery schedules as needed.
5. Acts as a liaison with departments such as Sales Support, Product Marketing, Order Processing, Shipping, Material Planning, Quality Control and Accounting.
6. Prepares, analyzes and interprets order status and performance reports.
7. Prepares and processes return material authorizations, and resolves order discrepancies.
8. Verifies all confirming purchase orders and change orders.
9. Prepares, posts and maintains charts and graphs of various data.
10. Maintains expert knowledge of corporate agreements, policies, procedures, stock reserves, etc.
11. Assists Inside Sales Manger in all items related to tariffs.
12. Performs other related duties as directed.
Equipment Operated:
CRT, 10-key calculator, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, ERP systems.
Basic Job Requirements:
Education High school diploma, preferably BS in Business or similar. Training and/or work experience.
Experience: Customer Service/Purchasing/Accounting experience important.
Other Skills:
• Should possess excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of products, policies and procedures.
• Requires ability to interact with all types of people.
• Requires ability to work with confidential data and to meet required deadlines.
• Excellent Analytical Skills a must.
