About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service. You’ll work closely with Territory Managers and internal teams to ensure every customer interaction is handled with care, accuracy, and a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer and Territory Manager inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and urgency.
Prepare accurate quotes, ensuring all relevant details (e.g., filters, promotions, rebates) are included.
Process and confirm orders, verifying product details, pricing, and delivery requirements.
Provide product specifications and assist with bid jobs, site surveys, and specialty item coordination.
Schedule and track shipments, prepare BOLs and pick tickets, and manage drop shipments.
Receive and enter incoming materials into the system after warehouse verification.
File and follow up on freight damage and warranty claims.
Communicate product updates, price changes, and promotional programs to customers.
Handle basic technical inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
Support other branches and internal teams as required.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role with a strong service orientation.
Excellent phone manner and communication skills—written, verbal, and numerical.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
Confident negotiator who can explain ideas clearly and gain buy-in.
Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
Comfortable following procedures while remaining flexible to meet customer needs.
