The Injection Molding Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring injection molding machines to produce high-quality molded components according to production schedules and quality standards.
Role is on-site in Camarillo, Pay is $22-23/hr DOE to start.
• Operate injection molding machines in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
• Perform mold changes and basic machine setups under guidance of technical staff.
• Record production data such as quantities, downtime, and scrap.
• Identify and communicate equipment malfunctions or process deviations to supervisors or maintenance teams.
• Responsible for packaging finished goods.
• Accurately mix materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
Required Experience & Competencies
• 1+ years' experience in operating a molding machine.
• Ability to work independently or as part as a team.
• Advance decoupling skills.
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing safety and quality control principles.
• Ability to operate and adjust basic machine controls.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic math skills for measurements and production calculation
• Profax and PSM6K material knowledge preferred.
• Good understanding of basic control functions and mechanical ability.
