We are seeking an experienced Industrial Shipping & Supply Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Shreveport, LA. This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse and logistics leader with strong industrial shipping, receiving, inventory control, and team management experience.

The Industrial Shipping & Supply Manager will oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, support accurate inventory flow, coordinate with carriers and internal departments, and lead warehouse personnel in a fast-paced metals and manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily industrial shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate documentation, on-time shipments, and efficient product movement.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including tracking, cycle counts, stock organization, and discrepancy resolution.
- Coordinate with vendors, freight carriers, production teams, and internal departments to maintain a smooth logistics workflow.
- Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff while promoting safety, accountability, productivity, and teamwork.
- Identify and resolve operational issues related to shipping accuracy, receiving delays, inventory variances, and warehouse organization.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and industrial warehouse best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $18 to $21 per hour, firm.
- Annual salary range: $42,000 to $45,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage daily shipping, receiving, warehouse, and supply operations in an industrial environment.
- Lead warehouse staff, assign priorities, monitor productivity, and support employee development.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock organization, tracking, and discrepancy resolution.
- Coordinate logistics activity with vendors, carriers, production teams, and internal departments.

- 5+ years of management experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, warehouse operations, or industrial supply management.
- Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, metals, machining, CNC, or production-related environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping documentation, receiving processes, warehouse organization, and logistics coordination.
- Experience using inventory systems, ERP platforms, shipping software, or related warehouse technology.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and lead effectively in a fast-paced industrial setting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, efficient, and accountable workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in metals, minerals, machining, CNC, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing operations.
- Experience improving warehouse processes, reducing inventory discrepancies, or increasing shipping and receiving efficiency.
- Background working in an employee-owned or team-oriented company culture.
- Forklift experience or familiarity with material handling equipment in an industrial setting.
