We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a 3rd shift, direct-hire role supporting high-volume manufacturing operations. This position focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting packaging and production equipment to maximize uptime, efficiency, and quality. The ideal candidate brings strong electro-mechanical expertise, manufacturing experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain packaging and support equipment
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on machine downtime
• Conduct line changeovers, set-ups, adjustments, and equipment rebuilds
• Execute preventive maintenance (PMs) and address identified issues
• Use CMMS and MES data to resolve mechanical and electrical problems
• Support production teams and assist with equipment installations
• Fabricate and repair parts as needed; operate forklifts when required
• Train team members on basic adjustments and maintenance
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience with PLC systems, AC/DC motors, three-phase power, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors
• Experience supporting packaging or liquid filling equipment
• CMMS and MES system experience
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree, apprenticeship, or military training preferred
• Able to work 12-hour overnight shifts and meet physical job demands
