Import Entry Clerk | Navigating Global Trade
The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Import Entry Clerk to join our team. You’ll be the bridge between global goods and U.S. markets, ensuring every shipment clears Customs smoothly and stays compliant. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love solving the puzzle of international logistics, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Customs Clearance: Manage the full entry lifecycle via ACE, ensuring 100% accuracy with CBP.
Compliance & Classification: Master the HTSUS to classify goods and manage ISF (10+2) filings.
Logistics Coordination: Partner with carriers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to keep cargo moving.
Problem Solving: Proactively resolve holds, exams, or documentation gaps to prevent delays.
What You Bring
1–2 years of experience in customs brokerage or freight forwarding (preferred).
Working knowledge of HTSUS and U.S. Customs regulations.
Tech-savviness with ACE/ABI systems and MS Office.
A "sharp eye" for detail and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure.
