What You’ll Be Doing
Day-to-Day Support
• Be the first point of contact for IT issues (computers, software, network, etc.)
• Help employees troubleshoot problems quickly and clearly
• Support both office staff and remote vessel crews
• Be available for occasional after-hours or weekend support when needed

Systems & Tools
• Manage Microsoft 365 (email, Teams, SharePoint, user accounts)
• Maintain user access and permissions (Active Directory / Azure)
• Set up and configure laptops, desktops, and other devices
• Help maintain Wi-Fi and network systems (office + vessels)

Infrastructure & Maintenance
• Assist with servers, systems, and new software rollouts
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively
• Keep hardware, software, and inventory organized and up to date

Security & Reliability
• Help manage antivirus, updates, and system patches
• Support data backups and recovery processes
• Follow and help improve IT security best practices

Documentation & Improvements
• Keep clear records of issues, fixes, and systems
• Suggest improvements to tools, systems, and processes
• Help evaluate new technology when needed

Experience & Skills
• High school diploma required (IT-related degree is a plus)
• Experience with:
o Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
o Basic networking and hardware troubleshooting
o Active Directory / Azure (preferred)
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus

Qualifications

Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco
