Responsibilities:
Keep track of notifications received through the Help Desk tool.
Provide technical services to internal users regarding hardware and software problems.
Install all hardware related to data processing.
Install programs (software) as well as internally prepared programs.
Uninstall and relocate equipment related to computerized systems when moving employees to other areas.
Maintain the programming of the telephone box.
Serve internal and external users (agencies, agents, etc.) repairing equipment, deactivating, and relocating equipment.
Active Directory management.
Safeguard equipment (hardware) in case of natural disasters.
Perform any other tasks required by a supervisor.
Key Performance Indicators:
Communicate effectively at all company levels, including externally with technology-focused companies, equipment suppliers, and application providers.
No supervisory responsibilities.
Knowledge:
Associate Degree in Electronic Technology.
Computer programming and repair courses.
Knowledge in MS applications, LAN operating systems, TCP/IP transmission protocols.
Remote Desktop application proficiency.
Skills:
Ability to work in a team environment and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to make decisions under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Electronic computer skills.
Assembly skills.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual.
Experience:
At least two years of experience working as a PC technician.
Preferably, some exposure to the insurance industry.
