Job description
Job duties:
- Primary responsibility will be IT helpdesk Tier 1,2: onsite and remote support to hotel employees about hardware, software, network, and network devices connectivity.
- Ensure PC communication and connectivity to LAN/WAN, including connectivity to servers, printers, and the Internet.
- Computer imaging, deployment and maintenance of user workstations with the latest software patches and anti-virus and anti-malware definitions.
- Maintain accurate inventory and reporting of all hardware and software assets.
- Support hotel/franchise software or hardware refresh, PC replacement, brand conversion, take-over & installation projects.
- Respond to systems-related problems, and coordinate with vendors in setup and maintaining interfaces between hotels’ property management system, internet service, telephone, TV Services, credit card, and Point-Of-Sales.
- Plan, prioritize, organize and complete work to meet established assignments and objectives.
- Adhere to normal business hours, with flexibility for after hours and/or weekend support the properties for fixing system or network’s issue.
Job Requirements: ??
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience in IT Support role.
- Active Directory Installation, Configuration, Management, and Troubleshooting
- Experience with configuring Access Point, Firewalls/Routers (Cisco, Sonicwall, etc.)
- A core understanding of VLAN's, routing, and Layer 3 switching.
- Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems with 3+ years of Desktop Support experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, MS Office, remote support applications.
- Virtualization experience: VMWare and/or Hyper-V.
- Must be familiar with troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365, Exchange online with configuring Outlook desktop/web application.
- Network troubleshooting skills with LAN, WAN and Internet Connectivity.
- Knowledge of Spyware / adware removal tools / antivirus programs.\
- CCNA certificate is a plus
Education:
•Associate’s level degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or IT related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
•IT related certification (CCNA, CompTIA A+, MCP, Network +, etc.) preferred.
