Job description
Job duties:
- Primary responsibility will be IT helpdesk Tier 1: onsite and remote support to hotel employees about hardware, software, network, and network devices connectivity.
- Respond to tickets (via ticketing system, email, and phone calls), resolve issues and document occurrences and solutions.
- Computer imaging, deployment and maintenance of user workstations with the latest software patches and anti-virus and anti-malware definitions.
- Maintain accurate inventory and reporting of all hardware and software assets.
- Support hotel franchise software or hardware refresh, PC replacement, brand conversion, take-over & installation projects.
- Respond to systems-related problems, and coordinate with vendors in maintaining interfaces between hotels’ property management system, internet service, telephone, TV Services, credit card, and Point-Of-Sales.
Job Requirements: ??
- Three year minimum experience providing ?technical support.?
- Knowledge of MS Office suite; Word, Excel, & Outlook (Outlook’s configuration)
- Knowledge of Windows OS.
- Basic knowledge of PC imaging and configuration
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, Routers, WAPs, Wireless, and other networking devices
- Knowledge of Spyware / adware removal tools / antivirus programs
- Previous Hospitality experience is a plus
Education:
• Associate’s level degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or IT related field.
• IT related certification (CompTIA A+, MCP, etc.); preferred but not required.
• Cisco Certificate is preferred
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• On call
