IT/Desktop Support Specialist – Keep Our Manufacturing Operations Running Smoothly!

Are you a tech problem-solver with a passion for keeping systems and people connected? Our growing manufacturing company is looking for a hands-on IT/Desktop Support Specialist to provide exceptional support across our shop floor, office, and warehouse environments. You'll play a critical role in ensuring production never skips a beat by delivering fast, efficient, and reliable IT support.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Provide responsive desk-side, phone, email, and remote support to both office and production staff.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and production-line systems running Windows 7 and 8.1.
Manage hardware inventory and lifecycle, ensuring minimal downtime across departments.
Install and maintain PCs, peripheral devices, software, and networked systems across the facility.
Serve as a liaison with vendors and service providers for IT purchases and service requests.
Maintain and support networked and standalone systems, ensuring seamless production support.
?? What You Bring:
Proven experience supporting IT in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of PC hardware, LANs, and current network protocols.
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, especially under time-sensitive conditions.
Familiarity with Help Desk ticketing systems and service documentation.
Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users on the shop floor and in the office.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
