Overview:
Join a dynamic manufacturing team as an ISO 9001 Quality Assurance & Compliance Specialist, where your expertise in quality systems, audits, and documentation will drive operational excellence. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in ISO 9001 standards, internal and external audits, and manufacturing quality control—preferably within textile production.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands regulatory frameworks (FAA, GMP, OSHA), and is passionate about continuous improvement and precision documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain ISO 9001-compliant Quality Assurance manuals, SOPs, and process control documentation
Ensure adherence to FAA, GMP, OSHA, and other regulatory standards for the production and manufacturing of parachutes for aerospace and commercial use.
Lead internal and external quality audits; prepare audit documentation and facilitate corrective actions
Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPA for non-conformances
Strong background with testing, inspection protocols, and documentation procedures
Oversee quality systems including NCMR, RTV, and RMA processes for non-conforming materials
Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization
Qualifications:
2–5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing (textile industry preferred)
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and audit procedures
Proficiency with inspection tools, measurement equipment, and quality reporting systems
Skilled in statistical process control (SPC), documentation control, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
