Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled ID/OD Grinder Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cylindrical grinding, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement tools. This role is essential to ensuring our customers receive parts that meet strict dimensional and surface-finish requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate ID/OD cylindrical grinders to meet tight tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and work orders
Inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and indicators
Perform grinding on chrome-plated and non-plated components
Maintain machines, wheels, and tooling for optimal performance
Document production and quality checks accurately
Work collaboratively with plating, machining, and inspection teams
Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications
2+ years of ID/OD grinding experience (aerospace or industrial preferred)
Strong understanding of precision measurement tools

Experience with chrome-plated parts is a plus
Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused work habits
Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
