Job Summary
We are seeking a Hybrid Senior Financial Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in Costa Mesa, CA with an established organization in the automotive and parts manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys turning complex financial data into clear business insights that support operational performance, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
The Senior Financial Analyst will partner closely with accounting, operations, and leadership teams to evaluate costs, margins, trends, and business results. This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented FP&A or corporate finance professional who wants visibility with leadership, meaningful analytical work, and the ability to influence business performance in a collaborative hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and business performance reporting.
- Build financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to evaluate trends, costs, margins, and operational results.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance and identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Prepare executive-level financial insights, recommendations, and presentations for leadership review.
- Assist with cost analysis, margin analysis, inventory-related reporting, and operational finance initiatives.
- Improve reporting processes and support the use of ERP, financial reporting, and business intelligence tools.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Build financial models and reporting tools to evaluate business performance.
- Partner with accounting, operations, and leadership teams to analyze costs, margins, trends, and operational results.
- Prepare executive-level financial insights and recommendations.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or a related finance role.
-Strong financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Experience working with ERP, financial reporting, or business intelligence systems.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving ability, and business judgment.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with accounting, operations, and leadership teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive, parts manufacturing, manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry.
- Knowledge of cost analysis, margin analysis, inventory, or operational finance.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or other finance-related certification.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $95,000 to $105,000 per year.
- Hybrid work arrangement.
- Location: Costa Mesa, CA.
