Human Resources Manager – Law Firm
Location: Miami or Orlando, FL
Salary: $100,000 – $110,000
Schedule: In-office, 5 days a week (No remote, no hybrid)
About the Role
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team in a leading law firm environment. This role is ideal for an HR professional ready to step up from a Specialist or Generalist position into management. You will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and collaborate closely with firm leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting for professional staff, including sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter and other innovative strategies.
Administer benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, retirement, Section 125 plans, HSA/FSA, commuter benefits).
Support payroll processing and serve as backup.
Oversee leaves of absence (FMLA, STD/LTD, Military Leave) and Workers’ Compensation.
Administer attorney and staff evaluations, compensation, and bonus processes.
Coordinate RFPs for insurance brokers, HRIS/Payroll vendors, and other HR-related services.
Act as HRIS Administrator and provide technical support.
Maintain compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Recommend and implement HR best practices and innovations.
Perform special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree required
? SHRM Certification required (CEBS a plus)
? Minimum 3 years in a law firm or professional services environment
? Experience in benefits administration
? Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter
? Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Ideal Candidate
Currently an HR Specialist or Generalist ready for promotion to Manager.
Brings experience from a reputable law firm (e.g., Holland & Knight, Greenberg Traurig).
Professional, detail-oriented, and eager to share best practices.
