AppleOne has partnered with a growing company in Irvine that operates across multiple location. The HR Manager supports project management, estimating, field operations, and overall business functions.

Position Summary:
The HR Manager leads the development and execution of essential HR processes, including recruiting, onboarding, employee growth, and daily HR operations across all locations. This is a hands-on role that works closely with leadership to ensure the organization hires effectively, integrates new employees successfully, and supports ongoing performance and development. The position combines day-to-day execution with process improvement, creating structure in hiring, onboarding, and role development while fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Professional HR certifications (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) are a plus.
-Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience, preferably within construction, contracting, or multi-location environments.
-Demonstrated success in recruiting and onboarding both hourly and salaried employees.
-Working knowledge of employee relations practices and employment law compliance.
-Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow through on priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition:
-Oversee end-to-end recruitment for office, project, and operational roles across all locations.
-Collaborate with leadership to define staffing needs, role requirements, and hiring plans.
-Create and maintain job descriptions, interview frameworks, and evaluation tools.
-Manage candidate communication, interview scheduling, offers, and hiring decisions.
-Maintain consistent, compliant, and effective hiring practices.

Onboarding & New Employee Integration

Design, manage, and continuously enhance the onboarding experience.
Ensure readiness for new hires, including documentation, system access, and introductions.
Partner with managers to communicate expectations, responsibilities, and performance goals.
Monitor onboarding progress and early performance outcomes.

Employee Development & Role Effectiveness:
-Work with leaders to define role expectations, competencies, and performance milestones.
-Support training programs that improve consistency, productivity, and outcomes.
-Provide managers with tools and guidance for coaching and employee development.
-Contribute to the development of career growth paths where appropriate.

HR Operations & Employee Support:
-Act as the primary HR resource for employee questions and support.
-Assist with employee relations matters, performance discussions, and policy guidance.
-Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
-Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.

Culture & Organizational Effectiveness:
-Promote a culture centered on accountability, development, and teamwork.
-Support performance management and feedback systems.
-Identify and implement improvements in engagement, retention, and communication.
-Serve as a trusted partner to managers and senior leadership
