*Candidate must have food manufacturing or agriculture background* Overview The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing HR leadership by identifying, creating and driving employee-oriented programs with leadership partners to engage and motivate employees. In addition, this individual is responsible for recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce which enhance the capability of the organization to achieve company goals and objectives. This individual is a leader who supports the team by utilizing their HR expertise, exceptional customer service and communication with employees and managers at all levels. Under direction of the Human Resources Manager, this highly visible role will lead the effort in creating a productive environment that supports company values and team by ensuring a qualified, inclusive, and engaged workforce. Responsibilities Direct organization recruitment and retention programs. Develop strong understanding of the unique talent challenges facing the company and work with leaders and team members to address them. This will include career pathing/ job definition, retention strategies, and development. Develop training programs and events that ensure the business can motivate, develop and retain talent through effective training & development. Participate and drive on-boarding and leadership development. Guide leaders and teams through company's processes and programs, including: performance management, employee coaching and corrective actions, employee survey action planning, gap analysis, and succession planning. Ensures positive employee relations by proactive employee communication, prompt issue resolution and fair & equitable treatment. This includes development and facilitation of programs to promote employee good will and positive morale. Assist with implementation and communication of Company policies, practices and procedures to employees and management.

Oversee and direct Payroll Coordinator and HR staff to facilitate and ensure excellent customer service in payroll and benefits administration activities. Conduct employee relations investigations and follow through to conclusion. Foster and support a positive working relationship with management and related site team leaders.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the field of Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Human Resources, or related field 5-7 years of Human Resources, OD or Recruiting (or equivalent) experience Demonstrates strong business acumen and a track record of success in partnering with business leaders Experience with ADP, Kronos preferred Bilingual in Spanish preferred not required.
