Human Resources Generalist (Direct Hire)
Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay: $65,000 – $75,000 per year
Type: Full-Time, On-site
We are hiring a Human Resources Generalist with the confidence, professionalism, and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. This role supports both hourly and salaried employees and requires someone who can navigate complex employee relations issues with discretion, firmness, and fairness. The ideal candidate is highly organized, calm under pressure, and unafraid to make tough calls.
Key Responsibilities
Lead new hire orientation and onboarding
Promote a respectful, transparent, and open-door culture
Investigate and resolve employee concerns professionally and objectively
Provide guidance on disciplinary actions and conflict resolution
Conduct exit interviews and offer actionable feedback to management
Manage non-exempt recruitment, interviews, and onboarding
Support hiring managers through the full hiring lifecycle
Coordinate with staffing agencies to meet workforce needed
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity
Audit HR files, track leave, and manage compliance documentation
Prepare reports related to staffing, trends, and budgeting
Coordinate with management and support teams on timekeeping, attendance, and labor tracking
Monitor compliance with employment law and internal policy
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of HR Generalist experience (industrial/manufacturing environment preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems (Lawson, KRONOS, SharePoint)
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred or in progress
