Human Resources Manager – Law Firm (Miami or Orlando)
Salary: $100,000–$110,000/year
Location: Onsite, 5 days/week – Miami or Orlando, FL
Schedule: Full-time | No remote or hybrid options
Are you a SHRM-certified HR professional with law firm experience and a passion for benefits administration and recruiting? Our client is actively seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team in either Miami or Orlando.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead full-cycle recruitment for professional staff: job postings, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation.
-Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, HSA/FSA, commuter benefits, and Section 125 plans.
-Support payroll processing and serve as backup when needed.
-Manage all types of employee leaves: FMLA, STD/LTD, Military Leave, etc.
-Handle Worker’s Compensation incidents and reporting.
-Oversee attorney and staff evaluations, compensation, and bonus processes.
-Coordinate RFPs for insurance brokers, HRIS/payroll systems, and other HR services.
-Serve as HRIS Administrator and provide technical support to users.
-Maintain and update job descriptions across departments.
-Stay current on federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
-Execute special projects and maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
-SHRM certification is required.
-Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
-Hands-on experience with benefits administration.
-Strong knowledge of employment law, HRIS systems, and recruiting tools (especially LinkedIn Recruiter).
-Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
