This Human Resource Manager Position Features:
Organize, oversee, and support HR workflows, processes, and systems
Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations
Address employee discipline and terminations in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
Implement the CEO’s vision and strategic objectives at the human resources level
Lead, mentor, and train staff on HR policies, procedures, and expectations
Develop strategies for recruiting, onboarding, and retaining high-performing employees
Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including California labor laws, including PIP, FMLA,
Manage employee relations, performance management, and corrective action processes
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation
Serve as a resource to leadership on HR best practices, compliance, and risk management
Communicate HR policies, updates, and directives clearly to leadership and staff
Support a consistent and positive workplace culture aligned with company values
Coordinate benefits administration, including 401k, employee benefits, workers’ compensation, and EDD claims management
Oversee leaves of absence and employee support processes
Ensure accurate handling and maintenance of legal and employment-related documentation
Collaborate with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational growth

Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms (Rippling or similar)
Tech-savvy, with comfort using digital tools and HR systems

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR experience
Prior experience in an HR leadership or management role preferred
Experience supporting a growing or scaling organization
Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or other regulated environments preferred
