• Pay Rate: $21.38 per hour
• Contract Duration: September 1 – December 31
• Employment Type: 4-month contract with potential for temp-to-perm transition

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housing Specialist for a full-time, on-site position in Rochester, NY.
This role involves a range of administrative and clerical responsibilities, as well as direct engagement with landlords, housing authorities, and program participants.
The Housing Specialist plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of public housing complexes and ensuring effective service delivery.

Qualifications
• Valid NY State Class D driver’s license and reliable daily access to a vehicle
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in basic calculations
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent time management and administrative skills
• Customer service experience and ability to work with diverse populations
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities
• Perform administrative and clerical duties related to housing programs
• Serve as liaison between landlords, housing authorities, and participants
• Assist in managing participant relations, including interviews, evaluations, and evictions
• Conduct field inspections of Housing properties
• Work independently under general supervision
• Operate in varying environmental conditions, including extreme weather and diverse living situations
