This role focuses on helping underserved individuals—many in crisis—navigate housing resources, secure financial support, and develop the skills needed for successful tenancy. Experience working with housing programs, CalAIM, low-income housing, or underserved populations needing social services.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Bilingual Spanish or able to communicate in ASL.
Experience working with people in crisis or within high-stress, client-centered environments.
Longevity in prior roles — stable work history is important.
100% on-site in Anaheim.
Must be willing to undergo background check and fingerprinting if hired.
Job Summary
The Housing Coordinator provides CalAIM Housing Navigation, Deposit, and Tenancy support to consumers through education, advocacy, financial support, and ongoing case management. This role is essential in helping individuals secure safe housing, strengthen independent-living skills, and maintain long-term housing stability.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management & Support
Manage a caseload of 25–30 CalAIM consumers, meeting all monthly service requirements.
Provide one-on-one education on independent living, housing applications, leases, tenant rights, and communication with landlords.
Assist consumers with obtaining deposits, moving support, and reasonable accommodations.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate, timely documentation that meets internal and external compliance standards.
Outreach & Resource Development
Conduct outreach to generate referrals for housing services.
Keep an updated list of housing resources, including ADA-friendly, affordable, market-rate, group, senior, and transitional housing.
Develop and facilitate housing workshops for individuals and groups.
Community Engagement
Build partnerships with housing providers, community organizations, and supportive agencies.
Participate in housing coalitions and advocacy groups to expand housing opportunities.
