About the Role
The Housing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting CalAIM consumers by providing housing navigation, deposit assistance, and tenancy support. This position focuses on helping individuals secure and maintain stable housing through education, advocacy, financial assistance, and long-term supportive services.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of 25–30 CalAIM consumers, ensuring monthly service activities are completed.
Educate consumers on independent living principles, housing applications, leases, tenant rights, and effective landlord communication.
Assist with securing financial support for deposits, moving costs, and reasonable accommodations.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with internal and external requirements.
Conduct outreach to generate referrals for housing services.
Develop and facilitate individual and group housing workshops.
Maintain and share updated housing resources, including ADA-friendly, affordable, market-rate, group, senior, and transitional housing options.
Build and sustain relationships with community partners and housing organizations.
Participate in housing coalitions and advocacy groups to expand housing opportunities.
Provide peer support when appropriate and assist with general office operations.
Adapt to changing priorities and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: BA Degree required.
Experience:

1+ years working with individuals who are disabled or in housing programs.
CalAIM experience preferred.

Skills:

Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and manage multiple priorities.

Additional:

Bilingual or ability to communicate in ASL preferred.
