We are seeking a compassionate and mission-driven CalAIM Housing Navigator to support individuals in securing and maintaining safe, stable housing. This role provides Housing Navigation, Deposit, and Tenancy Support through education, advocacy, financial assistance, and ongoing case management. The ideal candidate is patient, resourceful, and committed to helping vulnerable populations achieve long-term housing stability.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of 25–30 CalAIM consumers, ensuring all monthly service requirements are met
Educate clients on independent living skills, housing applications, lease understanding, tenant rights, and communication with landlords
Assist consumers with obtaining financial support for deposits, move-in costs, and reasonable accommodations
Maintain accurate, timely documentation that meets agency and CalAIM standards
Conduct outreach to generate referrals for housing services and community support
Develop and facilitate individual and group housing workshops
Research, maintain, and share current housing resources, including ADA-friendly, affordable, market-rate, senior, transitional, and group housing options
Build relationships with community partners, landlords, and housing organizations
Participate in local coalitions and advocacy groups to expand housing opportunities
Provide peer support when appropriate and assist with general office operations
Adapt to shifting priorities and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
1+ years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, housing insecurity, or supportive services
CalAIM experience preferred
Bilingual or ASL communication ability strongly preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Ability to build rapport, advocate effectively, and navigate community resources
